My name is Renee Duval. I'm the creator of Buddha Blends which I started in 1998. At that time I was a stay- at- home mom dedicated to my work and exploration in the healing arts, flower essences, esoteric sciences, yoga, Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, astrology and alchemy.
Bathing had become a daily morning ritual. I would rise before the sun and deeply immerse myself in the water where I would breathe deeply and soak in silence.
The benefits of immersing our bodies in water infused with plant materials and other earth minerals and essences, can help us to experience our primordial connection to "all that is".
I was inspired to to create a detoxifying bath formula that would not only draw out physical and psychic toxins in the body, but would nourish the spirit.
I was unable back then to find anything on the store shelves that carried a refined essence.
I combined purifying and detoxifying ingredients that resulted in an effective alchemical formula.
I put together packages for family and friends and the response was positive!
I continue to create products that are a culmination of the many parts of myself. As I continue to evolve, my offerings evolve.
I have since gone on to become a certified aromatherapist, studied vocal tone healing, and years of astrology.
The products themselves are filled with "soma," the tangible essence of my intention for beauty and refinement in this world.
